Common University Entrance Test, commonly known as CUET is presently the common national-level university entrance test that allows you to get admitted to undergraduate (UG) courses in 250 top universities of India including central, state, and private. The CUET exams are conducted each year by the National Test Agency (NTA).  This year, CUET UG 2024 exams will be held within 15 days starting from May 15 to May 24, 2024. 1. How to Apply for the CUET Exam?

The application form window released by NTA for CUET UG 2024 closes on April 5, 2024. Candidates can fill out the application form and submit it before the given deadline. Here’s how you can apply for the CUET exam:

• Go to the official website of the CUET UG 2024 exam or the National Testing Agency (NTA).
• Select the CUET UG 2024 application form link or the "CUET" tab.
• Tap on either the CUET UG 2024 registration link or the "Registration" link.
• Make an account and enter the necessary data.
• The application fee has to be paid then.
• Upload your Class 12 mark sheet, scanned passport-size photo, and signed photo.

2. What are the Major Updates in the CUET 2024 Exam?

As the CUET UG 2024 exams are heading near, some major updates have taken place. This also includes the revision of the number of subject selections related to the CUET 2024 Exam. Below are some of the major changes that you should be aware of:

• The window for CUET UG 2024 registration opens by the last week of February 2024. 
• The registration process for CUET UG 2024 shuts by the first week of April 2024.
• The release date of admit cards for CUET UG 2024 is out. You shall receive them by the 2nd or 3rd week of May 2024. You can download it through exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/
• The exam date for CUET UG 2024 has also been announced. NTA will be conducting the exams from 15 May to 24 May 2024.
• As per the most recent update by UGC Executive Mr Jagadesh Kumar, the CUET UG 2024 test will be held in hybrid mode. There will be an offline exam for the subjects that receive above 1.5 lakh application forms. 
• Candidates now have to choose only SIX subjects based on their preference and not 10 as per the latest update.

• The CUET UG 2024 exam dates can be revised due to the General Elections in the country.

   

3. CUET UG 2024 Exam City Intimation Slip Expected by May 5

As per an announcement released by the NTA Chairman on X, the CUET UG 2024 Exam City Intimation Slip is expected to be available by 5th May 2024. The CUET UG 2024 Exam City Intimation Slip will help you know the location of the examination center. Other essential details regarding the exam shall be provided through the CUET UG 2024 Admit Card by the 2nd week of May 2024.  To download the CUET UG City Intimation, you need to follow these 5 simple steps. Step 1: Go to the official website of CUET UG: exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG Step 2: On the page, look for “Candidate’s Activity Section”.  Step 3: Then tap on “CUET- 2024 City Distribution”.  Step 4: Fill in your credentials including the application number and your date of birth. 4. When Does Registration Start for the CUET PG 2024?

CUET PG 2024 registration date is out. It will start from 25 April 2024. The counselling will be conducted in online mode. 194 universities including private and public participate in the CUET PG 2024 test. There can be a change in the counselling dates of each of the participating universities of CUET PG 2024. Qualified candidates are eligible to apply for the CUET PG counselling process.  To register for the process, you need to visit the official website of each of the participating universities. Then fill out the registration form and submit it before the given deadline. There will be no centralised counselling for the participants of CUET PG 2024. The admissions counselling for each of the participating university's programs will be held independently. Follow these steps to successfully register for CUET PG 2024 counselling:

• Go to the official website of the participating university.
• Tap on the “PG Counselling” tab. 
• Carefully review the eligibility requirements and instructions.
• Register by entering your information and creating a username and password.
• Upload the necessary files, including your credentials and CUET scorecard.
• If applicable, pay the counselling fees for CUET PG.
• Click on “Submit”.
